I have been quite busy. Between being a dad, my work, and my calling in the Mormon Church there hasn’t been much spare time to spend on something as trivial as blogging. Last week I was in New York, the week before that Southern California and Phoenix, Arizona. It was quite an experience to visit these diverse climates in such a short time.

Newport Beach and Pier

Newport Beach's ocean breeze was pleasant and seemed to make everything more green and welcoming.

Landing in Phoenix

Phoenix was hot and brown, and very dry.

Times Square: New York was rainy, cold, dirty, loud and everyone was moving too fast.

While in New York City we had lunch at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill. The food was FABULOUS!

Rock of Ages on Broadway

We saw Rock of Ages on Broadway. Great show, I just had to divert my eyes a few times :-) . The music was fabulous...every 80's big-hair band was represented and a few others singers from the 80's like Pat Benetar.

Manhattan Temple

For me the Manhattan Temple was an oasis. I didn't have time to go into the Temple, but did go to the Mormon Church offices in the same building. It's a beautiful building and a great location, on the West side of Central Park. If you look closely you can see the Angel Moroni.
