April Fools

Is it really April, or did I just dream the last two months? As I was driving into work this morning, it felt like this event should be documented. So, I stopped at our neighborhood Walmart and snapped this picture.

Thanks Global Warming. Without you, April may see snow and inclement weather…

Because I work in the Missionary Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I have the privilege of delivering Mission Calls to members of my Ward. I just received this one a few moments ago…

Lizzie, I have your call!

Eagle Scout Project Blood Drive

img_0565Today our neighbor Scott B. (also our Home Teacher) performed his Eagle Scout Project. His project was to organize and manage a local Red Cross blood drive. He did a great job. I understand they had more than 50 people donate.

Andrea and I both tried to donate, but each of us were rejected; Andrea because of a low hemoglobin level and me because I had hepatitis-A as an adult (Thanks Kentucky Fried Chicken). At least we tried!
